Pink Buddies

Oh my goodness! It seems such a long time ago now, but the night of Friday 15th October 2010 is surely one that I will remember for a long, long time. The Pink Buddies Ball at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London was 18 months in the planning and over in 5 hours!

Ball planning is in FULL swing and we are in the process of selling the final few tickets to ensure that we raise as MUCH money as possible for the Lavender Trust.

All of the Buddies have been overwhelmed by the response in terms of the donations and kind gestures of everyone taking part. So many people to thank! We have some amazing prizes and some real "money can't buy" items such as the chance to open Tower Bridge and a signed DVD by none other than Sir Paul McCartney. Everything is just fantastic and I'm really looking forward to the evening itself.

It's a busy time for the Pink Buddies! Elaine & myself attended Confex 2010 at Earls Court to get some ideas for the Pink Buddies Ball in October. Was a great day and we got lots of ideas for our event - including a possible new MC! We have a meeting of the mini-Buddies on Tuesday 2nd March to get some more updates with the event planning, so watch out for further updates and more announcements!
