Pink Buddies

Following the outstanding success of its 2010 Breast Cancer Awareness Gala, the Pink Buddies Breast Cancer Support Group is pleased to announce that, this year; it is hosting an exciting, fundraising lunch to kick-start Breast Care Awareness Month at one of London’s most prestigious restaurants, The Oxo Tower Brassiere on Friday 30th September 2011.

As part of raising awareness of Breast Cancer, which affects one in eight women, the event has two goals – to launch activity to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to raise money for a very worthwhile and unique charity, the UK’s The Haven Breast Cancer Support Centres.

The Haven is the UK’s one and only national Breast Cancer charity which provides a network of support centres. It offers an in-depth service to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by Breast Cancer and offers a tailor-made programme to help every person who walks through its doors.

Tickets are available for this event priced at £39.50 per person, £10 of which will go directly to The Haven. The price includes a very special three course lunch which has been created by Oxo Brasserie Head Chef, Deon Jansen. Plus, there will be a selection of exclusive ‘themed’ cocktails designed by Oxo Bar Manager, Ian Goodman, that will only available on 30th September, again with a proportion of takings from these going towards the Charity.

We are currently awaiting confirmation of our celebrity compere and celebrity attendees, but we can reveal that other entertainment at the Lunch will include a live auction and raffle, both with outstanding prizes, alternative therapy demonstrations, a prize-laden ‘Tree of Life’, an astounding magician and live entertainment, direct from one of London‘s Top West End musicals.
